Ok, I watched it. A few years ago (before I had to go to a doctor), I would have said that free medical care would be substandard compared to American care, and would have been much more bureaucratic. But using insurance in America can be worse than getting goverment health care in other countries. Your HMO is like a little government, in that it tells you what is approved. And when you do get to see a doctor, most of them are quacks that are just pushing unnecessary prescription drugs anyway, and want you to come back as much as the HMO will allow so they can get paid some more. The alternative is to pay for it out of pocket, which is out of the question for all but the wealthiest.
The Cuban thing looked a bit contrived, like they were putting on a show for the cameras, and that hospital looked pretty run down. I know he went there to make a point, but I would have sought Canadian health care first.

'Nuff said? I think it's going to take more than a "double-dog dare" to get me to watch. Present your case, and I will consider it.
I dared you to watch, that should be enough. If you haven't got the courage, then by all means, don't watch it! ;-)
Alright, alright. It's in the Netflix queue. Just don't question my courage - it scares me.
Atta boy!!
